A Very Special Event on Innovation

It was a privilege to have Queensland Chief Entrepreneur Julia Spicer OAM and Queensland Chief Scientist Prof Bronwyn Harch (FTSE, FQA) visit the Agtech and Logistics Hub this morning for a very special event on innovation.

The two leading female innovators were joined by AusIndustry’s Natalie Gruenfeld and IP Australia’s Annita Nugent for our Chief Insights event, which provided some great insights into what it takes to deliver solutions for agribusinesses.

It was fantastic to hear the Chief Entrepreneur comment that the Agtech and Logistics Hub is perfectly positioned to drive agribusiness innovation and adoption in Queensland.

Prof Harch spoke about the importance of maximising research impact and translation of IP into commercial products.

Natalie and Annita also provided plenty of great information for budding entrepreneurs, including the importance of understanding your rights and application of IP.

A big thanks to all four of our incredible presenters and everyone who came along to what was another insightful event.
